Quentin is a patent engineer in the firm who holds a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. Prior to joining the firm, Quentin was an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Maryland. His lab employed state-of-the-art genetic, computational, and imaging techniques to study how olfactory signals are encoded in the brain. He taught advanced courses in Diseases of the Nervous System and Cellular Neuroscience at all levels and continuously maintained a successful federally funded research program. Quentin also served as a rotating Program Officer for the National Science Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia where he oversaw the review, funding, and maintenance of a large portfolio of grants and projects related to the field of neuroscience.
Quentin is interested in patent projects at the intersection of biology and computational approaches, including neuromodulation and genetics.
